Red Cross raffle winners announced
There were 119 raffle tickets sold for a Yamaha Grizzly 350 four-wheeler, with the winner coming all the way from Washington state to retrieve it. The drawing was made at the March meeting of the local chapter and Kerry Griffith, of Dryden, Wash., who purchased 10 raffle tickets online, won the four-wheeler, valued at $6,000. He is a pear farmer and drove from Washington on Thursday to pick up his prize at Palace Motors Sports in Mitchell. The second-place winner of a $200 meat bundle was won by Alan Greenway, of Mount Vernon, who donated the prize back to the chapter. The third prize winner of $100 in Mitchell Bucks went to Molly Haag, of Fargo, N.D; fourth-place with a hotel stay at Quality Inn and two free meals at the Brig was won by Lynn Deinert, Mount Vernon; and finally, the fifth-place winner, Donna Weiland, Mitchell, won dinner for two at Whiskey Creek and two free movie passes to Logan Luxury 5. The Red Cross thanks all who participated in the event. Proceeds went
to the disaster fund for the American Red Cross. |
